What does it mean you can download the source code and build the binary your own, if you need pre-built binary then you need to have subscription from Cloudera. They also have an option for having 60 days trial version, which you can use for your learning and testing the Cloudera Env,
This fall under the AGPL license. If you need binary version beyond 60 days, you need to have Cloudera Subscription.
